Best Practices Initiative
A Best Practices Initiative (BPI) is being developed to document the strategies used by career and technical education schools in Pennsylvania to create standards aligned systems and to support those systems with people, processes and partnerships. All of these strategies are aligned to the goal of increasing academic and technical achievement among students.
The BPI is part of a statewide, multi-year effort by the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Bureau of Career and Technical Education to increase the quality and impact of career and technical education schools and their programs, while ensuring that these programs are aligned with the Commonwealth's economic and workforce development priorities. BPI is carried out by the Meeder Consulting Group in partnership with the Bureau of Career and Technical Education.
